You gotta love baby feet and their soft buttery skin!
My favorite image as there's just something so powerful in this moment.
Don't we all feel like this sometimes!?
I love capturing the tender mother and child moments that are so real and timeless.
Love, love this couch! When I saw this I knew exactly the shot I wanted to get. Its' texture was perfectly balanced with baby's smooth skin.
J&EJ: Thank you so much for sharing your home and a part of your lives with us. We are so happy to see your family grow and for such a bundle of blessings! From the moment we walked in, we could feel the calm and warmth and the home you've made it to be. Thanks for inspiring us with your love for each other!
Love always,
Mary (& Sam)
If you haven't heard of them yet, Diesel Fitter is Ottawa's favorite rock cover band. They are a high-energy Ottawa rock band who cover music from the 60's to today, performing live covers such as The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, The Who, The Tragically Hip, and more.
When Sam was asked to photograph this band's live performance, he could not refuse (as you know, music was a big part of Sam's life before photography, so any chance he can cover a band, he's there!). It is great to be able to continue to do photography outside of our scope of weddings and lifestyle portraiture, and shooting bands is a great way to blend Sam's love for music and photography.
Here they are at the Bass Line Station.
Introducing...
On stage, what a great way to experience the energy of a live band...
One of my faves! I love the lights and perspective of this one.
Here they are, rockin' it!
The guys put on a great show and if you'd like to check them out live, you can catch their next show on May 10th at the Carleton Tavern! More information can also be found on their website.
We had so many favorites, we may have to post part 2 another time!
Melissa, thank you so much for allowing us to be a part of your lives. We are truly grateful for your friendship and for your complete trust in us to capture these moments. Your girls are truly so full of life and their sweetness is a reflection and evidence of being truly loved.
Much love,
Mary (& Sam)
